Schools / Offices / Retail

When a permanent cooling systems shuts down in commercial environments, such as in retail, schools, or offices, there may be a need for temporary comfort cooling for employees, students, and customers. It is often impractical or prohibitively expensive to cool large spaces while waiting to have the cooling system repaired. When this occurs, spot cooling is often a viable solution. The KPAC II Series is ideal for these applications. The key is placing the unit within 5 feet of the person being cooled. The KPAC II Series model will achieve a 20 degree F. temperature differential across the coils. This means that if the ambient temperature is 95 degrees F., the unit will produce 75 degree F. cold air output. The temperature differential will diminish at temperatures above 100 degrees F.
